A Blog for Readers & Writers Alike

Really? Yes, and here’s why. As an indie author, I realize readers are the lifeblood of what I do. Recently, I also discovered how much I enjoyEskimoQuote connecting with people who enjoy reading, especially when they enjoy reading my books. And while not all readers are also writers many are, so this blog is for both avid readers and writers (and even readers who aspire to become successful writers).

What You’ll Find Here

Well, quite a lot. I’ve been a professional writer for over twenty-five years and have maintained this blog for close to half that time. The easiest way to find out what’s already here is to scroll down the page and look for the Categories list. Check out the ones that look most interesting.
But here’s the thing:

I really want to know what you want me to write about on this blog.

Do you want more about what it’s like to be an author? Or maybe more about the characters of a particular series? How about tools and resources available today for writers? Or the impact that readers can make on authors?
My inquiring mind really wants to know so let me hear from you.

How to Keep Up to Date

I have a confession. I break some of the cardinal blogging  rules. I don’t write blog posts on a set schedule, and I tend to be sporadic. Maybe someday I’ll change, but until that day comes, you can stay abreast when a new post is made. Just look to the right sidebar for OPTION #2.  Enter your email address, and you’ll receive a nifty email message whenever a new article is posted. Easy peezy.
I started this with one of my favorite quotes (in the graphic) about the power of language. I’ll close with a second favorite quote:

“I don’t think writers are sacred, but words are. They deserve respect. If you get the right ones in the right order, you might nudge the world a little or make a poem that children will speak for you when you are dead” — Tom Stoppard
