We’ve been exploring the last few podcasts about what it is to live a successful life on purpose including how it may be time to redefine what we mean by success. So, while our culture says the popular and well-accepted definition of success in our Western culture:
• the fact of getting or achieving wealth, respect, or fame.
So often we in our Western culture equate our success with our financial results. The more we make, the more we earn, the more we have on our balance sheet, the more successful we are. So, often times this materialistic view or definition of success drives us into a vicious circle of doing more and more to acquire more and more.
We’re offering a different definition of success: The degree to which you live true to your Divinely Inspired Life Purpose is a better barometer for a successful life on purpose. For more on this, check out episode 010.
