I’ve been a fan of Kiva.org and the TED Talks for a couple of years. Recently, the two came together as I watched the TED Talk by Jessica Jackley, the co-founder of Kiva.org, an online community that helps individuals loan small amounts of money, called microloans, to entrepreneurs throughout the world.
After watching it, I realized it’s time to start highlighting some of the people who are living their lives on purpose, and who better to start with than Jessica. I think you will find her talk both inspirational as well as highly informative. And for those other entrepreneurs out there, check out Jessica’s new “Purpose Project” — Profounder.com
