The following project came from the most recent On Purpose Program completed a couple weeks ago in Unity of Greensboro. (which happens to be where I was first introduced to New Thought and the Unity movement over twenty years ago.)
This year – 2010 — marks 25 years of Unity in Greensboro. Such a milestone is significant in that it ties in with our Life on Purpose Project: to interview church members and gather interesting stories and church history, compile these into a DVD and present it at a soup and salad event in the fall. The name of our project is: Journey to Spirit: Celebrating 25 Years of Unity in Greensboro.
We seek to gather information on people and events significant to the evolving of Unity in Greensboro over the past 25 years. Your assistance is needed to provide stories and remembrances, suggestions of people to interview, pictures, historical documents, favorite songs and sayings, significant “firsts,” etc. that we may choose from to fulfill our project.
