For those aspiring authors out there, I want to share some of the
miraculous things that have been happening in the process of my
getting my book, ‘LIFE ON PURPOSE: 6 Passages to an Inspired Life’
published. I don’t know where this will all end up — whether I’ll end up
selling 1,000 copies or 25 million as has Rick Warren’s ‘Purpose Driven
Life.’

But whatever the results turn out to be, it’s already been a miraculous
journey.

Here are some of the ‘miracles’, least they’ve appeared that way to me.

The best way I can describe Authors Publishing is that they are
somewhere between true ‘self publishing’ where the authors does
virtually everything, and conventional publishing.

Dawson has pulled together a team of experienced professionals that result
in a book that can easily stand up to any of the big name publishing house
products. In fact, according to Dawson, to get a self-published book
accepted by the chain bookstores like Borders, and Barnes and Nobles, the
book doesn’t need to look as good as those from the traditional publishers,
it needs to look better.

I connected with Dawson through the Visionary Writers On Purpose
Team, when some of the team members met him at a writers’ conference
and were impressed by his authenticity and passion for shepherding books
into the mainstream.

We had him as a guest speaker, and as I listened to what he did and
experienced who he is, I knew that somehow he was the one to help me

But his services don’t come cheap, nor should they. However, that led to
the next, even more outstanding miracle — how to finance the project. Up
to this point, Life On Purpose Institute has been a ‘bootstrapped operation,’
meaning that it’s been funded by the Swift family. (Thank you again,
Ann, for going along with that plan.)

But the investment in this book project looked simply too big for us to
take on. What to do? Then it came to me during a meditation. Ask
someone else to fund the project, as a business investment. Someone
who believes in the project and knows the value of the Life On Purpose
Process, and would be enthusiastic about making the process available to
more people. But who would that be?

ASK & YOU SHALL RECEIVE

As soon as I asked the question I knew who it was — one of the first
people who had gone through the Life On Purpose Process years ago,
and who had consequently designed a very purposeful and prosperous
life for himself and his family.

When I approached him about the project, he was immediately
enthusiastic about it, and felt honored to be asked. While he has
chosen to remain anonymous, I do thank him once again for his
generosity in partnering with me in this way.

Asking for someone to finance this dream has been a HUGE breakthrough
for me. As I said at the start, I don’t know where this particular path of
passion-filled breadcrumbs will take me this time, but it’s sure fun and
exciting to be traveling along with a caravan of purposeful people, which
includes Team LOPI, Dawson and his team, my benefactor/business
investor, and all of you who are reading this.

DESIGNING THE PERFECT BOOK COVER

And if you’re so inclined, you can help us create the cover for the book by
