A Transformational Journey for Young People: Emerging Writers, Readers, and Eco-Guardians-in-Training

🌱 Vision

The Eco-Guardian Youth Project (EGYP) is a growing movement to inspire, awaken, and empower young people of all ages—especially those 10 – 18—to step into their roles as joyful, creative stewards of the Earth.

Born from my book One Cause: Breaking Free from the Four Great Untruths—and Embracing the Truths That Will Shape Our Future, the project invites a new possibility for humankind: Homo guardianus—also known simply as Eco-Guardian-in-Training (EGiT).

Through a magical blend of storytelling, creative expression, and real-world eco-missions, youth discover their connection with nature, guided by the Four Great Truths—and learn to protect what they love.

Curious as to what the Four Great Truths are all about? Check out this short Ted-Talk inspired video:

Our vision is scalable: circles, clubs, and camps that ripple outward like the best parts of Scouting and 4-H—rooted in ecological wisdom, creativity, and joyful play.

💚 Why This Matters Now

The climate crisis, social fragmentation, and rising youth anxiety call for new forms of engagement.
EGYP meets that need through imagination, joy, and purpose—empowering youth not only to read and write but to become visionary collaborators in shaping a thriving, regenerative future.

🤝 Invitation to Collaborate

We’re seeking partners, educators, and supporters to help bring this vision to life. Together, we can nurture a generation who loves the Earth, believes in their own voices, and acts to protect what they love.
